RO Bid Co (Rowena Osborne Bidding Company) has been inspired by the insights and experiences I’ve gained working with organisations from all sectors and industries. I wanted to combine all the strengths found in bid writing (clarity), research projects (innovation), and workforce development (unity) to make stronger teams and concepts which make real change in our world.
Like most people I fell into bidding and proposals because of my love of writing and solving problems.
My original roles as a project manager and then technical writer in skills development agencies propelled this.
RO Bid Co is the second business I have started. My previous skills-based company included a successful software-as-a-service (SaaS) component. These experiences, together with supporting business development in other companies, grew my strong commercialisation and operational knowledge to make every proposal and project achieve more.
My way of working is very collaborative and adaptive to your needs. It is about finding the best solution with an energy that makes working together enjoyable.
I have a need to continuously be learning and understanding new or different situations. Recently I have completed courses in:
- Mental Health First Aid (NCFE)
- Cyber Security (NCFE)
- Data Science Ethics (University of Michigan)
- Understanding Data Ethics and AI (ODI)
